Mercedes-Benz's ASSYST Plus system calculates the service interval based on actual vehicle use: operating temperature, distance traveled and driving style. The required oil varies by engine: 4-cylinder gasoline engines like the M264 and M260 require MB 229.6 approval, while V6 engines like the M276 and OM654 diesels require MB 229.51. We use only oils with the correct approvals and reset the ASSYST indicator at each service. We also cover Service A (oil, filters and general inspection) and Service B (oil, filters, brakes, wipers and full inspection).
The AIRMATIC pneumatic suspension on the GLE, GLS and S-Class is one of the most sophisticated systems on the market, but also one of the most sensitive to moisture and dust.
